Ninaad Kulkarni is a Multi-award-winning, immersive creative director with over a decade of hands-on experience in experiential storytelling and multi-platform commercial production. Recognized as Forbes “30 Under 30” India, he has worked in 5 major cities across three different continents and is currently a senior creative director at Nice Shoes, New York, where he heads the Immersive department, developing and executing innovative, immersive campaigns for top global brands, developing new strategic partnerships, and guiding interdisciplinary creative teams to push the boundaries of digital storytelling and technology.
Kulkarni's artistic vision was first showcased in his thesis short film "KCLOC," which earned prestigious accolades including the Red Dot Award, Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers Award, and AT&T Film Award, and was featured at MoMA, New York. His pioneering work in "The Other Side VR," the first immersive experience based on the Partition of India, further exemplifies his talent in blending traditional and modern techniques; woodcut print and spatial digital content respectively.
Kulkarni has collaborated with top brands on large-scale campaigns, including Disney, Nike, Ford, Nissan, Audi, Infiniti, Dolby, National Museum of Qatar, ABC Network, Fanatics, UFC and Bud-light to bring their visions to life through cutting-edge immersive technology and compelling narratives. He has also been instrumental in developing strategic partnerships with these brands, creating innovative creative methodologies for groundbreaking immersive campaigns and realtime VFX. Notably, he played a significant role in the Make in India campaign, showcasing his ability to merge national initiatives with innovative storytelling.
